SUBJECT: CPA – Joint NRCS – FSA Training Scheduled for February
and March, 2008
Purpose: To relay information pertaining to the joint
training scheduled for NRCS District Conservationists and FSA County Executive
Directors on Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) – State Acres For wildlife
Enhancement (SAFE).
Expiration Date: September 30, 2008
NRCS District Conservationists and FSA County Executive
Directors located in Aroostook and Cumberland counties are required to attend
the appropriate training session. Other staff in those two counties may attend
if approved by their supervisor.
The training sessions will be held on the following dates from
9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Thursday, February 28
– Presque Isle Service Center Conference Room
Tuesday, March 4 – Scarborough
Service Center Conference Room
The training will cover how NRCS and FSA will work together to
deliver CRP – SAFE. An agenda will be sent out prior to the training sessions to
facilitate discussion.
