SUBJECT: CPA – Maine Policy for Conservation Planning and
Environmental Compliance for all conservation planning activities.
Purpose: To notify the field of an update to the ME-CPA-52
form.
Expiration Date: September 30, 2008
The Form ME-NRCS-CP52 has been updated to include reference to
the "Use of NRCS Conservation Practices to Address Natural Resource Concerns on
Non-Federal Lands in the New England States and New York". Refer to Maine
Bulletin ME190-8-1, dated October 1, 2007, for instructions for tiering to
network diagrams and referencing this Environmental Assessment. The form is
located in eFOTG at: Section I-B. Reference File – Resource Planning –
Environmental Evaluation.
All new conservation plans are to use the ME-CPA-52_10_07.xls
version. Save completed worksheets "Client name"_ME-CPA-52_10_06.xls in the
Determination folder in Customer Service Toolkit for future reference.
For all existing plans that will be used for contracts funded by
NRCS, the District Conservationist will complete the sections P, Q, and R of the
ME-CPA-10_07.xls and attach to the existing ME-CPA-52.
